Hey guys! Today I am reviewing the Daily Moisturiser from the Softly Softly range by Elemis*. I have been using this for a while now and my opinions have been varied throughout the process of trying this product. Nevertheless, I have settled these opinions now and I do have a concluded opinion overall on this product.
‘Enriched with seaweed extract, this light and non-greasy daily moisturiser helps protect and moisturise. Rosehip seed oil and sweet almond oil deliver soothing and softening qualities ensuring the skin receives an instant hydrating boost. Skin is left revitalised and more radiant.’ – Elemis
This product comes in a plastic bottle with a pump. I really like the packaging because it is very travel friendly despite its not-so-small size. It is easy to get the right amount of product out so you don’t waste any either. The moisturiser itself has a very herbal smell that doesn’t appeal to me very much but after a few minutes of application this dies down so that isn’t too much of a problem.
After applying this moisturiser my skin feels very hydrated and good. I can apply my makeup on top of this so it provides my skin with a good base. My skin develops a glow whilst I have it on too. I think that this moisturiser would be perfect for children to teens and even any other gyals who don’t fit this category not matter your age as it does tick most of the boxes. However, I am not too sure that it is good for acne-prone/oily skin as it is a bit harsh for these categories.
Overall, I am really enjoying this product – I have normal/combination skin – it is working for me just fine. I do feel like sometimes it might break me out but this is not too bad as I am sure that other factors lead to my spots – I am a teen. If you would like to purchase this you can do from the timetospa website HERE or you can read more about the product on the Elemis website HERE. I do enjoy using this on a day-to-day basis but personally it doesn’t override my love for the Simple light moisturiser which is only £3.79 and Boots currently has a 3 for 2 on them HERE – that’s great compared to the £20 bill that Elemis ask for when purchasing this moisturiser.
