Hey guys! Firstly, I just wanted to congratulate the winner of the Spicy Subscription giveaway Jamie Ruamthong! Your prizes will be out to you soon! Anyway, today I wanted to share with you the Blemish Stick by Witch*. This comes in a little 10g tube that contains a stick of blue coloured product that is supposed to prevent and decrease the further inflammation of spots, blemishes and other miner skin irritations when dabbed on to them. The product contains witch hazel which is supposed to help combat conditions that cause spots because it is a natural anti-bacterial ingredient.

Although this product looks blue it applies like a clear gel. After applying it, I noticed that I did really feel the stingy, tingly feeling – a sign that it must be working for me. After looking in the mirror I could see that it had completely dried out the areas that I applied it to; you could tell the difference between the area I had applied it to and the areas that I hadn’t.
If I am being honest with you I didn’t see a major before and after difference - my spots are very resilient. However, the stick definitely did prevent further inflammation which is good for me at least. A problem that I had with this stick was that, in my opinion, it is pretty unhygienic. I actually found that after applying this to a few areas to my skin I would break out in those areas more as the stick does cover quite a large surface area, not just the spot. I should have inferred this from the start as essentially I was taking bacteria from one area and applying it to another.
Overall, this is a pretty good stick to have handy. I just wish that it was a tiny bit more hygienic. I found out whilst browsing the Witch website that they also do a Blemish Gel so I really think that that would be perfect for anybody like me! Recently, I have started to apply a bit to my finger first and then to one problem area and that has been working just fine for me. I really do feel like it helps spots – yet it isn’t a major miracle worker. You can find this HERE at Boots for £2.89, perfect for you teenage chicks on a budget. Also, if you would like to visit the Witch website to check out any other products they have to offer click HERE. That’s it from me, for now guys! Thank you very much for reading!
