Hey guys! Today I am reviewing the Clear Brow Styling Gel by Revlon. I searched for reviews on this, to get an idea about how I should use this in the beginning, but to my surprise I only found one and that only had about a paragraph of information in it. For this reason, I am going to try and give you guys as much detail about this brow gel as possible. The product is a clear gel and it is odourless which is good for me. It isn’t at all sticky so I didn’t have to worry about that either.
This gel comes in a clear plastic tube with a fairly thin mascara like wand applicator. I find that it is very easy to apply and all I have to do is run it through my brows as though I am combing them. I do have to be careful to comb them in the direction that the hair naturally falls for a more natural look.
Also, after application at first I would run my fingers over the gel. This is a complete no no for this gel as it makes it flaky and it just doesn’t do the job that it should. However, if I don’t run my fingers through them at all it does give me a wet look at first, which is why I would do what I did at first, but then the gel dries and the brows look amazing!
I would say that you should consciously try to not rub your eyebrows throughout the day as it does flake if you do which is annoying. Especially since if you try to remove the flakiness it will just cause more. However, I don’t see this as a big problem as it doesn’t flake unless you do this and my brows do stay put all day which is great for me.
As my brows tend to naturally droop I love using this on a daily basis to give them some long lasting lift. I do love this product and I definitely do recommend it to you guys as you will be pleasantly surprised by the outcome.
I got this item from the eBay seller HighStreetBrands4Less. I have got to say that the service that they gave me was pretty top-notch. They were extremely kind and helpful and I received the package only two days after I was told that they’d sent them out. The products were perfectly packed in bubble wrap and a small box to stop any damage which I really liked. I definitely recommend this shop as they do have pretty good prices for drugstore makeup. For example, this brow gel was only £2.90 when it has an RRP of £5. Pretty good if you ask me!
