Hey guys! Guess what? It’s Friday, yipee! The weekend is finally here. I don’t know why but this week has dragged on so bad. Anyway, before I start rambling on about pointlessness, today I am reviewing the Day Cream and the Night Cream from the Dead Sea Mineral line by Dr. Organic*. You may or may not have heard of this brand but it is a organic brand (hence the name, durr!) that ‘utilises only the finest natural and organic raw materials wherever possible.’ I don’t know about you but for me this is a big draw in – nobody wants to load on more chemicals than necessary on their face, do they? I hope the answer to that was ‘no Salihah’! If you want to learn more about the brand please feel free to click HERE and read about all of the minor details but for now, let’s move onto the creams themselves.

’Anti-aging, toning, rehydrating, energising with bioactive, natural and organic ingredients.’
This product is exactly what it says it will be – a cream. I am tired of products not being 100% what they say they are. But there's no need to look further now, for this product is everything that it says it will be. The first thing that stands out for me about this cream is the fact that it does not make me look greasy after application and for a cream with ‘intensive nourishing therapy’ that is pretty dang good. If it does anything, I’d say that it mattifies your skin. I don’t feel like it is heavy at all, in fact it feels like it is helping my skin to breathe. After using it for a while now, I actually feel like it is helping my skin... without the negative of breakouts. However, I do have one negative for this cream and that is because I can’t wear my foundations over it. This is because it will start to streak and become blotchy, which isn’t usually a look I like to go for. So I usually have to save this bunch of goodness for a no makeup day which is sad for me because I really do like this cream.

’Intense hydration, anti-aging, cell restoring with bioactive, natural and organic ingredients.’
This cream is very similar to the day cream; I really don’t see many differences. If anything, I think it must be a little bit more nourishing than the day cream as it has a stronger herbal smell but there isn’t too much of a difference. The great effects that come with it are also the same. It doesn’t break me out; a huge plus for my spot prone skin. It isn’t heavy; it compresses all of the ‘night cream’ negatives. It isn’t greasy; I didn’t even know this was possible for an ‘intensive overnight therapy’. Along with all of the other claims that this cream has, which I am sure must be true, these are a huge plus. Also, to my surprise, even my mum who actually has extremely sensitive skin, to the point where her face goes tomato red if she has a shower in warm water, is loving these creams! I think I’m going to have to buy her her own set before she steals mine! Haha.
These creams are amazing in my opinion! The day cream is a go-to for a no-makeup day, I put on the night cream nearly every day and I really feel like I am reaping the benefits.
